Thursday, September 25, 2025, 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Grief doesn't just follow death. It can come from divorce, illness, job loss, infertility, estrangement, moving, or even the loss of a dream. Join us for a compassionate Grief Workshop designed to support individuals experiencing any kind of loss. Our presenters will be Susan Yelverton, MSW, LISW and Erin Koeske, LISW-CP, LCSW, Live Oak Counseling Center, Columbia, SC.
This workshop is open to the public. There is no admission fee, but preregistration is required. To register, send name, telephone/cell # and email address to: mcgpresadm@gmail.com.

THIS IS US!
The Education and Congregational Care Committees are excited to announce a new feature for our weekly E-Messenger which is designed to help us get to know each other better! Each week, beginning in October, we will highlight one individual/family and give a little information about them that you may not already know. Contact Jayne Woodward or Robin Moseley for the information form, which asks a few questions for you to answer about yourselves. Then you can email the form back to mcgpresadm@gmail.com or print it out and leave it in the church office. We will write the article using the information you provide. A copy of the article will be sent to you for approval before it is included in the newsletter. Questions? Contact Jayne Woodward (803) 730-5072, minniewoodward@aol.com or Robin Moseley (803) 730-7780, robin1030@bellsouth.net.

Financial donations are always welcomed and much appreciated!
LOVE REVOLUTION MEAL MINISTRY: Every second Sunday afternoon, 3:30-5:00 PM at Seven Oaks Presbyterian, McGregor volunteers share a meal with our neighbors in need. Volunteers and prepared, ready-to-serve food donations are much appreciated. Contact Mary Ellen Thompson at nicunurse96@gmail.com for more information.
MEALS FOR FAMILY PROMISE FAMILIES: McGregor volunteers are providing meals for three families in the Family Promise Program on Tuesdays in September. If you can assist with preparing or delivering the meals to the Family Promise Opportunity Center on Omarest Drive, contact David Jenkins at djenkins880@gmail.com.
CEREAL BOX RECYCLING: Have an empty cereal box? Save it, flatten it, and then drop it off in the marked bin in the church lobby. The box will be used for a cool school project led by school resource officers. Contact Jane Hiller at janehiller@gmail.com for details.
