LENTEN ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS BOOK STUDY
March 9 - April 13 at 9:30 AM
During the Lenten season, McGregor
will host an adult book study during the Sunday School hour (9:30 - 10:30 AM). The book is Hard and Holy Work: A
Lenten Journey Through the Book of Exodus by Pastor Mary Alice
Birdwhistell and Hebrew Bible scholar Tyler Mayfield. This book will take readers through a unique
Lenten journey, walking through the stories of Exodus and encouraging the
readers to reflect on how these stories call us to respond to the needs and
aches of the world. Matt Isenhower will facilitate the
book study.
Nursery and Children’s Worship are available
during Sunday School and the Worship Service.

STAYING SAFE & SMART WITH TECHNOLOGY
Thursday, March 20 at 6:00 PM
This workshop is being offered by the Education Committee
for members of McGregor Presbyterian Church and will cover the following key
topics: Online Security and Fraud
Prevention, Avoiding Scams & Identity Theft, Everyday Tech Safety &
Ease of Use, Protecting Personal Information Online, and Managing Digital
Legacy & Online Privacy. Our
presenter is Rebecca D. Finegan, Senior Home Coach and Certified Aging in Place
Specialist (CAPS). There is no
registration fee, but preregistration is requested to help us prepare. To register, send email to: mcgpresadm@gmail.com. You can also sign up on Sunday after worship or
call the church office at 803-781-2391.
INSTALLATION SERVICE
FOR THE REV. DR. SAM CODINGTON
The Installation Service for the Rev. Dr. Sam Codington will be Sunday, March 30 at 3:30 PM at McGregor Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Cecelia Armstrong, Co-Moderator of the 226th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) will be the guest preacher. A reception will follow the service.
