A SEASON OF GRATITUDE:  GRATEFUL HEARTS, JOYFUL GIVING

OCTOBER 12 - NOVEMBER 9, 2025

Dear McGregor Family,

This year our stewardship theme, “Grateful Hearts, Joyful Giving,” invites us to reflect on how our giving is a response to God’s abundant grace.  All that we have comes from God.  We give because we are grateful — and in that giving, we find joy.

As part of our season of gratitude, we have some wonderful speakers lined up to share their McGregor story of Grateful Hearts, Joyful Giving during worship.  Melanie Clarkson will speak this Sunday, October 19.  Ted Smith will speak on Sunday, October 26 and Laura Langston on Sunday, November 2.

Please look for your stewardship packet (letter, brochure, pledge card) in the mail.  Pledge cards will also be available in the Sunday bulletins.  We invite you to return your pledge by Sunday, November 9th, either by bringing it to worship or mailing it to the church office.  Your commitment helps us plan wisely and serve faithfully.

Your faithful support has made possible so much over the past year:  Calling our new pastor Rev. Dr. Sam Codington; enhancing our sound system and streaming quality; community outreach through our Snack Packs Program, community workshops, and partnering with local ministries and churches to help address food insecurity; supporting youth ministry; and caring for our church family through our prayer shawl ministry, meal ministry, and much more.

To help sustain and grow our ministries in the coming year, we are asking each household to prayerfully consider a 3% increase in their annual pledge.  This modest adjustment, for those who are able, will help us meet rising costs while continuing to support the work God is calling us to do.  We understand that every situation is different, and we trust each family will make a decision that reflects both their gratitude and capacity.

Thank you for being part of this church family.

In gratitude,

Stewardship Committee

Steve de Kozlowski, Michele Glasscock, Laura Langston
