LENTEN ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS BOOK STUDY
March 9 - April 13 at 9:30 AM
During the Lenten season, McGregor
will host an adult book study during the Sunday School hour (9:30 - 10:30 AM). The book is Hard and Holy Work: A
Lenten Journey Through the Book of Exodus by Pastor Mary Alice
Birdwhistell and Hebrew Bible scholar Tyler Mayfield. This book will take readers through a unique
Lenten journey, walking through the stories of Exodus and encouraging the
readers to reflect on how these stories call us to respond to the needs and
aches of the world. Matt Isenhower will facilitate the
book study.
Nursery and Children’s Worship are available
during Sunday School and the Worship Service.

INSTALLATION SERVICE
FOR THE REV. DR. SAM CODINGTON
The Installation Service for the Rev. Dr. Sam Codington will be Sunday, March 30 at 3:30 PM at McGregor Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Cecelia Armstrong, Co-Moderator of the 226th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) will be the guest preacher. The offering collected during the service will go to our McGregor Snack Packs Program. A reception will follow the service.

2025 HOLY WEEK AND EASTER SERVICES
PALM/PASSION SUNDAY, APRIL 13
Palm/Passion Worship Service at 11:00 AM – The service will include a
parade of palms and special music, as well as, the PC (USA) One Great Hour of
Sharing Offering (OGHS).
MAUNDY THURSDAY, APRIL 17
Maundy Thursday Worship Service at 6:00 PM in Glenn Hall – We will share a simple meal and
Communion around the tables in Glenn Hall, remembering Jesus’ last supper with
his friends before his arrest. The
service will also include special music.
EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 20
Easter Sunrise Service at 7:00 AM on the Labyrinth – Communion will be celebrated during
this outdoor service on the labyrinth. Bring
your own lawn chairs and dress comfortably.
In case of inclement weather, we will gather inside. Following the Sunrise Service, a light continental
breakfast will be offered.
Sunday School classes
will not meet on Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 AM – We will celebrate the life
and hope of our risen Christ. The
service will include Communion and special music.
