community workshops in April
Last Fall, a group of McGregor members met to discuss the issue of gun violence and how we think about that in connection with our faith. As a result came the desire to host a series of Community workshops. Join us for the last two workshops in this series. On April 18 we will learn about suicide prevention with Talk Saves Lives, and on April 25 we will learn more about Alternatives to Violence. These are free and open to the community!

Earth day worship service
Join us on Sunday, April 21 at 11am as we celebrate Earth Day in worship! Weather permitting, we will gather outside on the labyrinth to enjoy God's good creation (in case of inclement weather, we will worship in Glenn Hall). Dress casually (wear your Earth Day t-shirt if you'd like!) and bring a lawn chair. This year's theme is PLANET vs. PLASTICS, so BRING CLEAN, DRY PLASTICS (bottles, containers, packaging, straws, etc) so we can see our collective plastic footprint. We will also be using these in creative ways during the service.
